Lillian E. Wong
Ms. Wong is an attorney licensed to practice in Massachusetts. She holds a Juris Doctorate from the UCLA School of Law (rated one of the country's top fifteen law schools) and a Bachelor's Degree from Dartmouth College (Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa). During law school Ms. Wong studied Education Law and actively participated in an Education Advocacy Clinic. After law school, Ms. Wong worked in the litigation department of a nationally-recognized, international law firm. Ms. Wong later left corporate litigation to pursue her dream of advocating for children's education rights.
For over a dozen years as an education lawyer, Ms. Wong has represented parents and their children at IEP meetings, manifestation determinations, settlement negotiation, mediations, and due process hearings at the Bureau of Special Education Appeals (BSEA). Ms. Wong has advocated for her clients' inclusion in the general education setting and helped other clients obtain private placements. She regularly speaks and writes for professional and lay audiences on topics related to special education law. For the past ten consecutive years, she was selected to the Super Lawyer New England Rising Star list for her work in School and Education Law. She is a member of Massachusetts Attorneys for Special Education Rights (MASER) and Massachusetts Advocates for Children's Coalition to Defend Special Education. Ms. Wong is admitted to practice in Massachusetts, and before the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts. Outside of work, Ms. Wong is a mother to three boys, and an active participant in her community.
